People Places & Things in the Czech Republic, Book II, is the Memoirs of an American Teacher from 1990-1994.  This book is more adult but would be suitable for good student readers as well as adults.  Filled with photos and wonderful anecdotes, this book gives a vivid  picture of what life was like in the early 1990's, as the Czech Republic was undergoing change due to the opening of its borders to United States citizens and others.
